Group breaks are fun, really.ebay group break scammer alert

As a participant (and I participate a lot), I enjoy the chance at a huge hit for a small price.  Even when I get a bad slot in the random or shut out on a hit, I still enjoy the theater of it – the thrill of the break.

As a host (and I host a shit-ton), I love all the same things as a participant – plus I also get to pull the big hits.  My highlights in the last few months have been the Manny Banuelos Superfractor auto, the Dylan Bundy Superfractor auto, and the Yu Darvish Tribute auto.  That is fun!  I especially enjoy pulling big cards for my friends – I got to pull the Eric Hosmer Orange refractor auto for The700Level – who always joins my breaks.

I hate a scammer – especially a group break scammer – because they put our entire hobby in a poor light.

This douche bag – Bryan1178 & Thrasher099 on eBay and Thrasher099 on youtube – ran a Panini football box break on eBay.  When he opened the box he found a redemption.  He never shows the redemption to the camera, but you can tell what it is from the back.  He reads the redemption and gets very, very quiet while his conscience fights within his douche bag self.  Then he says, “I don’t know what that is,” and hides the redemption from view.

He then ends his video with a merry, “I will send off your cards to everyone immediately.”  What a piece of shit.

When confronted, he claimed not to know what a redemption was – although he is a group break host and collect Panini cards.  Hello?  Then he says that he will redeem the card and send it off to the lucky winner once it arrives and he can see what card it is…  wow, just wow dude.

He quickly removed the video evidence from Youtube, but not before some smart fellows at blowout cards copied the video and re-posted it.  haha.

Well, I decided that his three minute scamming video was a bit too boring and so I spiced it up a bit:
