2010 Topps Chrome Baseball and 1 Pack Sterling

I have my eye on doing a 2011 Topps Lineage case break on Blowoutcards.com, but I had no reputation for case breaks yet.  So I decided to create a cheap, fun break that would garner a lot of interest for only a little money.

I ended up with a 2010 Topps Chrome baseball case and 1 pack of 2010 Bowman Sterling.  I only allowed 30 teams to join with all USA stuff to be randomed amongst all 30 teams at the end.  It was actually a lot of fun!

We randomed all 30 teams amongst our 30 members.  Obviously the 4 most desired teams were the Nationals (Stephen Strasburg), Braves (Jason Heyward), Marlins (Mike Stanton), and the Cubs (Starlin Castro).

I did pull a Jason Heyward RC auto, but that was it out of these 4 rookie autograph possibilities.  It was the first case of 2010 Topps Chrome that I had busted without at least 3 of these autographs.

Well, the case was still a great one.  We had 3 packs that include double colored refractors each and we were able to pull a gold Mike Stanton non-auto /50 and a gold Alex Burnett auto /50.

The Sterling pack did not include any major hits: a Yasmani Grandal auto and a USA dual auto.  It did have an extra hit though, so that was pretty cool.
